At home with James

James is excited to learn any instrument he can find. He was delighted when Josh used his work Christmas bonus to get a large keyboard. This is definitely an improvement to the air violin we have been playing.
James loves getting his picture taken. He says Cheese and then immediately wants
to see his photo on the digital camera afterwords. Too cute!

James is a big fan of learning by example. Whatever we do, he is sure to repeat. Lately we have noticed that James is quick to run and grab Daddy's wedding ring on the nightstand first thing in the morning and put it on his finger.

Night night (nap) is preceded by an elaborate toy and book tucking in time.
No toy is too big or loud to join James in bed.

Visiting the toy train musuem in Lancaster. James was enthralled
with the toy trains and light up displays.
 So was Daddy!

Coloring at Grammy's on a large posterboard from Costco. This posterboard lasted
at least a month!

James saw a project that needed an extra drill, so he ran to his room
and came back with a drill just like Josh's power tool. Josh showed him how to use a drill and what it was for. James was eager to properly inspect all of our furniture after that.

James power drill. Which I prefer because it is prettier and lights up and does not have chunks of mud and paint splattered on it.
