State Fair 2011

James has never been to a state fair, whether born or in utero. While we have always loved going, we have taken a haitus for the past few years. This year though, we were sure James would love the animals and cow palace ice cream. We were surprised that he not only loved the animals, but LOVED the fair - the bright lights, the farm tractors on display, the throngs of people and the ferris wheel.

 James loved the goats. The goats loved James. James wanted to get down with the goats.

Mommy was not thrilled about the poop on the floor.

Mommy tried to convince James to go back to his stroller.

 Then, James had a meltdown.

James threw himself on the floor. The goats were then scared of James.

The goat show judges were well, peeved as goats broke rank. Goats screamed.

We were given the 'Look"

as James was removed via screaming.

 James is enchanted by the Bull Ride and Rodeo.

 James gestured wildly at the bright lights and rides.

 James prefers the cookies and cream to chocolate.

 James was ticked at daddy when he was told no to petting the

cows rump.

 The tractor was so exciting, but then again the plane above

was making some super cool noises.

 Mama thought the 1001 lb. boar was a pretty cool animal.

 The University of Maryland had a free kids agricultural set up

with activities that promoting farming.

 James rocks the soybean farming.

 James thought the little chicks were delightful.

 But, James thought the chickens were the best part of the show. ?

In an effort to keep an exhausted toddler occupied, Mommy bought

cookies and milk for James while she looked at the crafts and baked goods.
