Today seemed like a nice day to get out and hang with the elephants and giraffes, so we packed up and headed to the Baltimore Zoo. James has not been before, so we were pretty curious to see how he would do. The first major part of the zoo allowed him to get out and climb on turtle statues, after which we got to visit the farm yard/ petting zoo. Although James was not entirely convinced that this was as much fun as lunch time, the gentle goats quickly won him over. They never even batted an eye when he began to get excited and "pet" them by grabbing tufts of hair (of course I was mortified and pulled him away). By the time we got to the actual exciting animals like chimps and penguins, James was passed out in his strolled, dreaming of his delicious ice cream at the zoo snack shop. All is well that ends well I guess!
